I would like to go back to Sicily and spend some time in its western part: first of all see the Valley of the Temples, near Agrigento, but also other great archaeological sites like Selinunte or Segestae. Then there are the islands near Trapani, that are told to be really spectacular (thinking about Favignana). The old town of Erice is also a great highlight. The excursion could then stretch towards the North (Riserva dello Zingaro), or to the South (Scala dei Turchi, Alcantara Gorge). Everything is still to be planned, the only thing that is for sure is that Sicily is wonderful and really packed of things to see.
